when i was with you, all of life was there
life's pieces no longer fit
i do not like this one little bit
over and over again i had to make a go
i've had to be strong; its understood
but i cannot explain what i have withstood
word's wings; all my thoughts fly to you
i knew there would be days like this
when i cannot help but reminisce
yet; something deep inside me changed
sitting here in limbo like a bird without a song
right now i do not feel so strong
just me and my thoughts, dreaming far away
jealous of the angels who touch your soul
innocent tranquil beings, i've no control
in death we will again find some release
together again; we will find peace
