Tears to Bear

One, single, lonely blue teardrop streams down my face.
It leaves a glistening line upon my cheek.
Whatever is it for?
I try to hide my tear from everyone.
How I wish it would fade away and never come back.
My teardrop becomes a heavy load to bear.
It moves slowly down my cheek and past my chin,
leaving one tiny drop on the floor,
one I only see.

I lock my feelings up pretty tight too.
It is never good for you, once in a while you should share your pain and sadness with the world.
It helps to take the burden off your heart.
I enjoyed this piece. Very nice. :) |
