Fatal Fall

The day goes by, then the night.
Thoughts trickle in my brain.
I am afraid. I feel alone.
These thoughts, they kill me.
They destroy my every will.
They leave my heart floating, through all the black rain clouds.
I hide, but I am found.
There is no escape.
These thoughts, they own me
and will create my fatal fall.

Can't help it...must ask what these thoughts are? I find, sometimes, that as soon as i give expression to those thoughts in poems, their power and influence diminish. In fact, they can be almost laughable. Hang in there. We're all human. Keep writing...bob |
