It's been a hard day for me......Please read..And don't take a second with your children for granted. [bodytext] => My world, shattered
Still the Earth moves beneath me
Daring me to keep up with the pace of life.
Death dare not pause
And wait for me to love enough,
But leaves all the moments thereafter to regret.
Every smile left uncaptured,
Each touch taken for granted,
Tears tumbling before you could dry them,
Slipping into oblivion,
Though now, you yourself
Would stare death in the eye
For just one more second
Or less.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Losing a child is so difficult. I can only offer condolesces because I know there is really nothing I can say to ease your pain. I am sorry, truly, for your loss and pain.

Rita

Oh, Juliette - this is a beautiful, though heartwrenching, poem.

Death dare not pause
And wait for me to love enough

I am very touched by this piece. I am truly sorry for your loss. As much as I like this poem - I wish you never had to write it.

Sincerely,
SNM

Painful and honest to the core, the poem is excellent. We all need a way to vent and it seems you've found a good one. We can all find strength even in our greatest weaknesses, hang in there.
