Don't worry about me at all.
I know we've said all we had to say,
So don't be surprised when I don't call
I gave you all I had,
never had a second thought
I'm over that now,
I found someone new.
I found two loving arms to hold me tight,
I found new eyes to look into,
someone who will never make me blue,
just because he's not you.
I can not give you a reason why,
when i fall asleep at night, i just can't tell you
when my dreams come your always there
in the life i thought we would share.
Don't ask me why I still dream
Don't ask me if i still care.
because when i needed you
you were never there.
So in my dreams i will keep that life,
Even though i know it will never be,
I guess you could never see
what i thought we would be.
He knows I still dream,
and he wipes all my tears
comforts all my fears
So when you ask if i still care,
My answer will be
Than i no longer need you,
but i can't help but to dream

Very good poem. I also was in your situation, and dreamed alot, it's our way of letting go with time.
