Protected by glass and presented with stature, The statue pretends the glass will not shatter. For crystalline eyes and ivory skin Protects not the Angel, but Devil within. Locked inside a gilded cage, Unharmed by your own lies, Sheltered from your own sad Sins, You Hide, Pretend, Defy. A real look around, Can tear your whole life down.
