I am proud of my scars
They are a part of me
A part of my past
A piece of my life
Placed on my skin
With the blade of a knife
Or the edge of a key
The dull razor blade
Anything that would make my pain fade

Like the time I lost a love
Who never loved me
He convinced me he cared
How foolish could I be
To think someone like him
Would ever be mine
Reach for that razor blade
Make another line

Or when my dad would yell
And blame everything on me
“Do something with your life,
Stop ***** up and do ***** right.
Your brother was never this way!”
Be more like him
And everything will be okay
Another cut is there to stay

I am a cutter, always will be
I am proud of my scars
They are a part of me
A part of my past
A piece of my life
Placed on my skin

beautifully written, sad, cold and full of pain, yet it rymed with a catchy rythem.
I hope that you will find another way to realease the pain,I have scars within and without, yet I no-longer cut or scar myself, I use my writting to release the pain of the past, present and life.

Make what you will of this comment.
so take care

Honey, my heart breaks for you. To mark up your body when your heart is so tender is so sad. Your words grab hold of a reader and don't let go. I'm sorry for your pain. I can feel it in your words. If writing doesn't help, please talk to someone who can help. Good Luck... God Bless You...

I envy you to be proud of your cuts. I suppose I should be too. You're lucky you don't have to go through the hassel of hiding them. Has anyone done anything about it? I know it's tough, but just try and stay strong. Pm me, if you ever wanna talk.
