[bodytext] => Anger boils up inside her. With the tears she dare not shed She gazes down the road before her The one that she must walk alone. Step by step her pained feet lead her. To some place she does not know But to go back is not an option. So she will walk on and on. Soaring gates stand before her So high they strike her down with fear Now, before her, they creak open Yet she cannot move her feet. Her mind screams “go on, go on” But her feet will not obey Still, she summons all her courage And walks into the gleaming city.
