We are the cop killers
And gun slingers
We are the strange
We are the nothingness
That is the future
We are the young
We are the criminally insane
The keys
To the padlocks
On your whites suits
We are the music-ending
Text-book-burning
Bomb-exploding
Trigger-pulling
Innocence
We are the youth
We don't know
So we are told
Influenced by
Video games and news reports
We are shown the perfect crimes
And how to create them
We are the cyber dogs
That will sniff out the bombs
And learn how to make them
To blow up the world
With the instructions on our moniters
And not realize were blowing up
Our own homes
We are the young
And the restless
The hip-hoppers
And the rockers
We are the loving
And unloved
We are the past
And the future
In the oval office
We are the president killers
The trunk snipers
School shooting
Innocence
We are the youth
We are the wrist-slitting
Self-hanging
Own life taking
Fatherless bastards
And we are
Your children. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 198 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Asatru [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Good picture of some of the youth today, but there are others that not like that all. Responsible, kind and loving....it's all up to you. We are the product of our upbringing that is true......but what we do after that is truly our responsibility!
This poem was literally truth personified....what does that say about our society?
