Array ( [sid] => 5404 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => HEAR ME OUT! [time] => 2002-10-22 09:30:00 [hometext] => About my five year old having problems at school
and nothing is done about it! [bodytext] => Hear me out for I have something to say,
Hear me out,my son should'nt be treated that way!
He's only five and can't defend,
Why can't they just be his friend?
His first year in this school,
Why do they have to be so creul?
Hear me out, If I may,
This is hurting him in every way!
Why do they do this & be so mean,
How is my son suppose to succeed?
I had these problems when I was young,
And I hated school,it was'nt ever fun,
I don't want him to deal with that pain,
Picking on my son, what do they have to gain
Hes only five and yet still afraid to speak,
these kids are older and not too weak,
The teacher does'nt see what the others do,
She said she never knew,
But the kids are still hurting my son,
Nothings changed or being done,
Why should my son, continue to have fear,
I just want him to have a good year,
Hear me out,for I need to know why,
Can't any one help and stop the lies,
Hear me out for I have something to say,
My son is five, and should'nt be treated that way!

That is so true....it is happening all the time...the teachers( not all of them) seem to close their eyes on what happens to the younger kids....well written...

My mom is a teacher... so I can attest that not all teachers close their eyes to what happens to small children. Bullies are everywhere, though, I am sorry that your son is having such a hard time adjusting to school. I hope that the teacher that you believe can't open up his/her eyes to what is happening will be able to.

All too true, and all too common.
I also fell victim to the cruel taunts of others.
There are still scars upon my soul, I fear will never heal. I do hope that something can be done to help him.
