Is opening two days early
Come sample our delights!
There are lots of rampant Sunnis
And quite a few Shiites!

Dave and John
Are waiting there
Ready to get it on
Arrange your very own funeral
Before the setting sun!

See the wondrous rides
Fantastic fun with great aplomb
Travel headfirst through the air
Propelled by roadside bomb!

It’s time to get this show
Well and truly on the road
Brought to you by liars
Who sold a total fraud

Sorry we had to open in a rush
It was not by our desire
We wanted this to be SO hot
But not be set on fire!

So come one, come all
See ‘The Land of Death’
With rocket bombs and mortar fire
It will surely take your breath!

Meet Mr Dave the elder
He’ll tell you the story 'true'
Of how he SAVED this noble land
For little me and you

Then newcomer John
You know him well
No “hidden trigger” he
Our UN pal and confidant
Under him we’ll see

PR reach to unknown heights
As a SKULL becomes a SMILE
A triumph of war with plenty of gore
And then there’s the SHOW TRIAL

Roll up! roll up!
See the evil monster here!
See the nasty grimace
Come and feel the fear!

We must all now look forward
With a smile playing on our lips
As the bombblast flares around us
And a bullet through us rips

Come celebrate the chaos
Strike up that band
We are Disneyland Baghdad
At last your promised land!

You're never a dry bed of inspiration, but sadly, neither is Iraq . . .

2 days and counting . . . keep 'em coming.

I just like to say how i hate the USA and all its involvment in everything, there such horrible people and the civilians are just as easy to blame because they have the right to overthrow bush, but they dont.

when the time comes, we already knew it was too late.

When I saw the title I knew this was one of your's Steel.

I still say you should take all of these and make an anthology--may do well on both sides of the pond:)

Very unique style! Just, yet, another way of expressing today's nasty happenings. Write on, Steeleyes!

How wonderfully you highlight the farce. I thought this was great.
