Array ( [sid] => 53906 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Rose [time] => 2004-06-27 14:47:53 [hometext] => One of the most recognized and admired flowers is the rose. Being the daughter of a dedicated and talented rosarian I was raised to appreciate the many wonderful qualities of the rose. This poem is partly written for my lovely rosarian mother. [bodytext] => A delicate rose the color of a stunning sunrise.
Opening out into a perfect spiral.
Queen of flowers, treasure among thorns.
Dazziling in all your variety.
Blush on, oh delicate bud of brightness,
Symbol of love, friendship, purity, and hope.
Show us all that beauty lingers in our world.
