Array ( [sid] => 53857 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Little Girl Lost [time] => 2004-06-27 00:21:19 [hometext] => This was written for someone I dearly love... an unconditional love... one might say... someone that may or may not already be lost... But... I'm not giving up on her... no matter what the cost... plz comment... thank u. [bodytext] => You're just a little girl lost...
In the great wilderness of life...

Not yet... grown up...
And yet... you're not a child...
Just somewhere in between...
Searching for an identity...
You can call your own...
Wanting to live life to the max...
Over the top... wanting to be free
And not really understanding... yet... what this life really means...
You're just struggling to stay afloat...
In your quest for fun and excitement...
Only to find... that it's the wrong kind...
And will get you into trouble... every time...

You're just a little girl lost...
In the great wilderness of life...

You're just wondering... where you fit... in the scheme of things
In the rhyme of life...
A place where you can find no rhythm...
'Cause you believe... in your heart...
That everyone who knows you...
Everyone who's close to you...
And loves you... so...
Doesn't have time for you...
Doesn't care at all...
They're too busy with problems of their own...
To worry about you...
Well... babe... that's just not true...
Oh... how we all love you... so...

You're just a little girl lost...
In the great wilderness of life...

You're just a child alone...
You have been all your life...
Craving for attention...
So... you hang out with the wrong crowd...
And you do "wild things"... sometimes...
Even though... you know what's right... what's wrong...
You don't know why... you do it...
But... if it goes too far...
You're gonna pay the ultimate price....

You're just a little girl lost...
In the great wilderness of life...

I've got you in my heart... now...
And you're always on my mind...
A young woman... who's far away from that little girl...
I met... not so long ago...
With those beautiful eyes of blue...
That sparkled and shined like pools of diamonds ...
Who... to me...wouldn't even say boo...
When I spoke to her... she just stared at her shoes...

Now... you're just a little girl lost...
In the great wilderness of life...

For inside that little girl...
Lies the beautiful... beautiful soul...
Of a young woman...
Just needing to be found....
Who sometimes seems to be crying out...
"Someone... please rescue me... from myself!"

You're just a little girl lost...
In the great wilderness of life...

Not yet... grown up...
And yet... you're not a child...
Just somewhere in between...

Just a little girl lost...
In the scheme of things...

Just a little girl lost...
In the darkness of life...

Very good write as u reach out to help someone. Sounds to me like puberty. Jus maybe once she gets thru that you'll proberly see a big change for the good.
Hang tuff and keep encouraging her.
Continue with the luv-n-prayers. Don't let anyone judge her 'cause if they do she will jus rebele.
Keep up the good work.
luv, huggs,
yo momma,
emy
I'll try-n-catch u on im when I get caught up a bit.

Never give up on someone you love. We all need soft arms to fall into when we do fall and we all eventually do. It is hard growing up nowdays. They are expected to be so adult and yet they are having to learn how. Not a fun time for them either. Stay strong in your convictions and hopefully she will be alright at the end.

Love,
Rita
