[hometext] => This is a poem I wrote a while ago for a Holocaust class.
[bodytext] => remember the scent of fresh powder remember the little lullabies hush, now all is quiet baby sleeps in the meadow now she sleeps in the pasture of grass and dew and plays in the room of clouds and stars hush, now don't make a sound baby sleeps in the meadow now no one can disturb her little dreams the shot was fired no one was home no one with an aged wisdom but baby was there baby saw it and now she's gone don't cry, don't cry mother mustn't sigh hush, now they'll hear you baby sleeps in the meadow now remember that she'll suffer no more she'll never know of this horrible hatred she'll know not of sadness, anger, or hate far away from the swastikas she sleeps in a 6-pointed starlit atmosphere hush, now you may have been found baby sleeps in the meadow now no more time to think about it follow them baby's at peace shot fired join your baby in the peaceful meadow [comments] => 2 [counter] => 189 [topic] => 32 [informant] => LittleWillow [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
