When I was a young girl
I tried to picture
The kind of man I would be with when I got older.
I pictured both inner and physical qualities.
I pictured a man, who would love me for me,
One who would be true to me.
I pictured a man who would be my soul mate,
One who could make me laugh.
I pictured a man with long hair
And the softest eyes I've ever seen.
I pictured a man, whose butt looks good in everything he wears,
And a chest with lots of hair.
I pictured a man, who could make me feel
I was the only woman for him,
One who whouldn't cheat or hit.
I pictured a man who would hold the key to my heart and soul.
Now that I'm a woman
I don't need that picture
I held close to my heart.
You see, I have finally met that man ~
Yes, he really does exist.
And he is everything that I ever pictured.
