Birdie

Contributed by wikedladi on Friday, 25th June 2004 @ 12:25:32 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

-Broke little bird you found me
-I took care of you bird, now you're fine as can be
-I took care of you bird, and you left me; just as quick as you came now you're gone just the same
-I took care of you bird and you left me

good symbolism. straight and to the point. not all newly healed birds fly away, maybe this one will stay. keep your head up, you have people who love you for who you are. 5 stars

its heartbreaking to invest so much of yourself into someone just to get left behind in the shadows.... I can relate with your feelings here. short write but alot of strong emotions here. I bet many who understand will relate with you. great poem, even tho a bit sad... A++++

Very precious poem.. my little sparrow broke his wing.. poor thing.. farmer healed him.. one day I will post my little birdie poem for you.. I wrote it for my sons.. and it was read to my grandkids.

Yes, a very sentimentle poem here.. enough written..

The way you wrote it really heals.. the soul. And do you know how that is.. because.. you show such love and care.. we can pour out our feelings with you.

A lot of little birdies are out here at YPDC for you.. We will not leave you..
