Suzey Had Me Once

Contributed by walt on Wednesday, 23rd June 2004 @ 05:27:14 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Do you know who is on the street
slow pathway home and I try to see
all that is said for a thought in room
skips the path of those who can’t
I will let the world hold and share you

Money dropped in by box

So long ago I carried your banner
What is the price of the star studded
Pick your feelings in the remnants
See the mountain burning in the sky
Which of you dare color my world

Some like to hear me play your songs

Feeling of the wind as burst through
See the breeze of loving her
As the star raise its head above
Sleep in the confides of believing in the end
Earn the ticket while you kill the friend

Voice is old and harsh but the words hold

Willful is the sin of pleasure held
In the palm of my hand
Like the love from the sky
Which will hold you in the ghetto
Summer breeze sees the glory of life

Got the fools eating out of my hand

Cryptic lines fall across a world
She hungers for in the night of passion
Still to young to know the world
Old enough to taste the water of life
Cherishing all of the love she will ever hold

She dances and prances to the mystic sound

Each of my steps is lost in her arms
Wanton rivers of livening flow past
Traveling down a road that never ends
In the life of memories set inside a thought
Wasted on the pavement of money lost

We share the little bottle she has brought
