Under my fridge are odd things,
Rubber balls and diamond rings,

Seven marbles, green and blue,
Candy that turned into goo.

Seven dollars, thirty cents,
Matchbox cars with tiny dents,

Popcorn kernels, army men,
Broken pieces from a pen.

Moldy bits of cheese and ham,
Ants on top of mounds of jam,

Noodles and thirteen dead bugs,
Broken bits of coffee mugs.

One used toothpick, plastic jets,
Sting from my dad's fishing nets,

Balls of dust that make me sneeze,
Could you get the vacuum please?

Under my Fridge

Under my fridge are odd things,

This is an absolutely delightful poem. I probably have lots and lots of dust bunnies and many many kibbles from my cat and several cat toys, lol. Welcome to YPDC. I will be watching for more of your work.
