A starving girl
A charming boy
Instantaneous connection
A kiss and conversation
Passionate encounter
Hotel room bliss
A quick escape
A familiar purple place
Much hotter than usual
Goodbyes, uncertainty
A lasting impression
Pages full of hope and longing
New York streets
Funny stuck door
Silly girl pretty smile
A cat with an attitude
Empty glass
Deeper conversation
Roots planted
Feelings at stake
A sweet glance
Caught up in romance
Poison in their veins
Entranced in each other
Slowly becoming one
Looks of envy surround
Taxi cab fun
Art, music, love out of control
Beautiful sleeping face
Another amazing goodbye
Pages full of emotion and love
Drunk phone calls
Singing, laughing
Professing love and pain
A shaded past
Cannot let go
Deeper roots still
Genuine love
Or crazy imagination?
Bright lights and temptation
A wall unable to scale
Damage beyond repair
Downward spiral
Thrown off course
True colors
Heart broken
Bottles empty
Hasty departure
Abandoned again
Out of control
Words of hate
A realization
Too late
Pencil out of ink
Cracked torn bruised
Solemn weeks
An awakening
Not meant to be
Dark where there once was
Blinding light
Empty pages
Gone but not forgotten
Farewell muse.

GREAT poem. I felt like I was watching a movie on fast forward. You paint a perfect picture with your words. And thanks for the comments on my poem. It was greatly appreciated. :~)
