Array ( [sid] => 52950 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Tulips In February [time] => 2004-06-21 00:18:44 [hometext] => This poem is about a guy whom I feel I am in love with. I'm trying to get over him but its not going over too well. [bodytext] => I’m feeling sad at best
Why can’t I find the strength to say what I really want to say
To give you these letters that I seem to write everyday
And I know that Tulips don’t grow in February
But I’m holding onto every one in hopes that it will grow

Memories chart me back to these feelings
And I can’t close my eyes and I wonder how you can be sleeping
I’m lost in the cold as I write an apology
And I’m growing weaker, I don’t want to say goodbye
The truth is a whisper that I made too soft for you to hear
Because they were lined with your smile and the hint of blue tears

And I know that tulips don’t grow in February
But I’m holding onto everyone in hopes that it will grow

I want to know that you’re doing okay since it all had to end
And if you got all my letters that came with love that I’d send
And its just another feeling I get as I sit outside
How I can fight this feeling that cripples me to die

The seasons are cold,
The tulips in February need you
And so do I
