I think there's enough here for some of you. *** [bodytext] => I did what she did without knowing it
Hid it so well that even I was tricked
By title, only one was named
But there were two, much the same
We exorcised the first in obvious ways
By offering specifics of those days

I did what she did without knowing it
To move past the pain they did inflict
Just one, I think, was quite enough
Two was simply far too much
She hinted at two, but I did not
And it wasn’t because I had forgot

I did what she did without knowing it
On this day the clues I will permit
One no longer seems quite right
Two by two, we both did fight
Four have fallen now in front of you
She and I, are stuck together with glue

I did what she did without knowing it
Consider it a neurotic sort of fit
Just one of us is known to you
The other will be if you search through
We reclaimed what they took from us
But her words, not mine, became famous

I did what she did without knowing it
So innocently I reenacted the skit
Alone as one I no longer feel
The two of us just needed to heal
Look to the past to find her name
Under a title that is nearly the same

I did what she did without knowing it
If you know the answer, whisper it
Name just one, the poetess
Generically state the two at rest
Hints aplenty have been laid bare
I’ve given my name, it all starts there [comments] => 14 [counter] => 253 [topic] => 64 [informant] => Silent-No-More [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ambiguous )

Great poem! I loved your use of repetition. It certainly got my mind going, but I think I might need more clues.

Well, definitely ambiguous to say the least. And yep, you've got the clues. A riddle to be solved but where do I start searching. Here? There? Back a page or two.

I still like this though, so don't get me wrong. I like ambiguous aspects of knowing not what to do. ;-}

It reminded me of a movie I've seen...maybe even more than one movie but I can't quite place them.

Thanks,

Timmy
(who thinks he needs a bit of nudging in the right direction) :-)

Do I need a black light to show the hidden message that doesn't normally appear to the naked eye? ;-)

Okay, I think I know we at least have to know the name of the famous poetess. I'll bet you've written about her in the forums. Yep, methinks that's part of it. But 5456 posts later???!!! No way!!!

Have you ever hidden something so well that you forgot where you have hidden it?

Just had to ask. :-)

This has something to do with your other great poem, Four, doesn't it?
