[title] => The Warrior's Oath
[time] => 2004-06-20 21:56:13
[hometext] => This is a poem I wrote during my English 10 class two years ago. It's about a lone swordsman.
[bodytext] => With one more swing the enemy fell Slipped into the depths of hell The bloodied blade dove for shelter Back to its' scabbard, hence forever The warrior roars an oath for all 'By my blade no other shall fall My executioner time has ended But the chaos left in my wake cannot be mended I shall spend my life protecting good With the very blade that drank so much blood A 'manslayer' call me no more For I am through with this petty war Defending the weak is how I shall live Until that time when my body gives To this oath I will remain And not let my life be lived in vain.'
