She cares for us when we are hating Our anger turning us away With maternal patience she is waiting For when we have our waking day Oh this devotion, there is none like it And never will there ever be Yes, she always wants to keep us But she’ll always set us free Mom will be there when we have no one Holding out her healing arms Her wise clear eyes see our center Far beyond these worldly charms.
