[bodytext] => Underneath my layered skin,
I have an uncomfortable feeling within.
Be it another day, I’d proberly be fine.
But today, I’m almost losing my mind.
And I’m feeling more trapped as I remember more pain.
My memories have expanded and it feels like I’m there again.
Back in those walls I hated so much!
I’m feeling the pain as it brushes its touch.

I remember when that doctor, stabbed the hole through my vein.
And my blood came out again, and I cried in emotional pain.

I can feel a cold sting, from the memories of that cell.
Behind the locked door, it was my own, private hell.

And I remember the view of the world, from above.
When I stood there on the roof, so prepared to jump.

It makes me want to cry,
Remembering all of this.
There’s no where I can hide!
And I don’t wanna cut my wrist!
My life is made up of lies,
Please don’t expect me, to feel warm inside.

You could never imagine,
What I went through,
What are words?
When my experience is new?

Even when I’m feeling happy,
I can’t block it out!
The damage is DONE! I’m scarred!

I’m full of my memory’s shouts. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 149 [topic] => 61 [informant] => deathdrop [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

Underneath my layered skin,
"I have an uncomfortable feeling within.

The first stanza captured me and lured me in. I felt your pain and sense of awe. This is true poetry.
