[hometext] => A poem about being overly spoiled. (Inspired by Paris Hilton. Thanks to my mate, Wray, for the title)
[bodytext] => She grew up in a privileged home, where mom and daddy raised her good. An only child, always pampered, turned into just what she should. Rode her pony, mastered makeup, kept the help all in their place, learned what boys like, learned what fun was, learned to fit in, to keep face. Queen of the party, she stayed boxed-in, and paid no attention to any outside. Knew nothing of culture, books, music, the world, or just how to live without daddy’s free ride. But beauty is fleeting, and AIDS is forever, and damage from cocaine just can’t be undone, Welcome to the real world. You’re so gonna love it. It’s knowledge that takes you much farther than fun. So here’s to your struggle, your flailing stagnation, your drowning, your lifetime of sweet poverty, your ign’ance, your bliss, your constant confusion, you’re stupid and unfit for society.
