Array ( [sid] => 52744 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Broken and Blind [time] => 2004-06-19 15:46:41 [hometext] => This poem is about how some teenages live their teenage years...searching for they truely are. [bodytext] => Dressed in shadows
I stare out the windows
Wondering why I am
the way I am
Waiting for something more
Waiting to find myself
To find whats missing
I'm broken inside
like a homicide
in my soul
Am I only a mistake?
I wonder this, as I shiver and shake
There will be no blood shed
I hope I will not be forgotten when I'm dead
I will not drown myself in sin
I keep this bottled up within
Will I be able to start again?
Hopefully, this will change my destiny
Can I still change today?
But I will eventually wither away
I cannot see
What am I to be?
Am I a mere hominid or only a heretic?
Is this all too thick?
I know what I want is impossible
But we humans make the impossible possible
To do that, we must have the will
Am I making too big of deal?
Is this my style?
Can I leave this with a smile?
Am I truely blind?
Just give me a peace of mind
What is it they don't understand?
Will they never take a stand?
Is this why I am blind?
To never again see my kind?
To never again fall behind?
To never again have a peace of mind? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 163 [topic] => 34 [informant] => Bones [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )
