For sending me someone like you One thought of your lovely smile Turns my gray sky blue When I think about your beauty My day becomes so bright And any form of darkness Slowly fades out of sight You’re as beautiful as an Angel Sent from Heaven above You’re kind and compassionate And filled with joyful love When I look at you I get lost in your eyes They’re as peaceful as the seas And as clear as the skies Your encouraging spirit Brings warmth into my heart And I’ll hold it deep inside Until the day we part God has truly blessed me By placing you into my life With one small conversation You help release my strife I wish to be your shelter And protect you from every storm In my arms I’ll gently hold you In my arms you’re safe and warm In my thoughts I’ll always keep you In my heart you’ll always stay I thank God for a friend like you Every night and every day I have this wonderful feeling A feeling I know is true That God has thoughtfully blessed me By sending me someone like you!
