A snowflake falls on my tongue and is
Consumed
It is Snowing
We come outside for a brief period to make
Men of snow and to declare war
Our hands get too cold to throw our tightly
Packed cannonballs
We run inside and talk peace over a cup of hot cocoa
We then go back outside to make heavenly snow angels from our earthly imprints
It is snowing

I love the way you brought back a wonderful childhood memory in such a great way. Nice job! :) (Even at 18, I still throw snowballs at my friends! lol!) |
