My once good mood, has turned so blue,
I can be too stubborn for my own good,
But temper races through my blood.

Now I regret the words I said,
They are swimming around in my head,
I should have told you how I really felt,
Let my icy tongue begin to melt.

But my pride has caused me another fall,
Yet again I surrounded myself with a brick wall,
Spoke in anger rather than compassion,
I should learn by my previous actions.

Why do I do this time& time again,
Making myself feel unnecessary pain,
Am I so stupid that I fail to see,
How much you want and care for me.

I miss you most when you’re at work,
Not being with you makes me feel hurt,
Longing to have you by my side,
At the moment I feel like a part of me has died.

Why do I say things I don’t mean,
We are a couple , a really great team,
Sometimes I treat you like my enemy,
My words of anger come with a hefty fee.

A fee that I must clear right away,
So here I sit alone all through my day,
Hating myself , despising what I did,
So here I am with an apology to bid.

Pixie you have so much talent.......indeed.
Your words are perfectly timed, and really rhyme just right. I'm sorry you did what you did, that's a slip of tongue.......we all do that sometimes......forgive yourself and move on. This is a wonderful way to apologize.
love

if he understands you, he won´t take it too much to heart. My girl is exactly the same, and like a fool i always come back for more, so................

not really like a fool, love is understanding!

Heart felt words. Good choice of thought.

You haven't failed or subcumd to ugly habits. You are you and you have to realize you have to adjust. In a realationship two try to become one. Deep in your brain your fighting change. But as you know the first step is recognition and you've done that. Next is find your focus, Whence this has happen you imagine that when you feel your temper or cold tongue coming on.
Now I say God bless you.
I know you have the strength to proceed past this doubt. Be safe.
