screams to wake the dead
lungs on fire
stomach turning
so they call this sleep

inspired to find inspiration
success in empties
twelve steps to freedom
the latter topples
we'd scream but the rope's too tight

as you lay in the box
when you find your "friends" at their best
before they close the lid
gun in hand for nostalgia
they talk of your better days

well i put quite a few things in there: interperitation of a nightmare, sexual frutrastion, needing a break from sobriety due to above said frustrations(need my endorphine rush). feeling hopeless and suicidal, and past flings with drugs tell me if you see any other angles in there i case i didn't see anything cos' i haven't slept in a while...again endorphines are needed..or sleeping pills
