I know you got angry after you read mine
My words have stung your mind
You come up with a poem saying that no one compares me to you
But only you know the truth
People are always putting me down because I'm not like you
I'm not the athlete or the brains, but maybe I like it that way
It's true, what you say, I am my own worst enemy
But people do compare me to you constantly
And it gets frustrating because no one can look past your image and see the girl that I call "me"
You can deny this all you like
Rebel with your poems
But only you know the truth

People really don't compare us all that much Kathleen. It's normal to compare siblings, but you act like it is ALL the time, and everyone puts negative energy on you. I do make the sports teams yes, but that doesn't mean you aren't an athlete too. People see good things in you too, you just have to stop thinking that people only talk about me. People say good stuff about you all the time, and I think you get mad because they never call you the athlete. However, you do get called pretty and kind. That's what should count.
