Quiet invasion
She hoped for a prayer
That could take her there,
~To Take Her Home~

Contemplated suicide
Loneliness in struggling pride
She watched them fall apart
Learned to trust her heart,
~To Take Her Home~

Unimaginable existance
Spiteful resistance
She wished to see the light
That gave way to night,
~To Take Her Home~

Quiet desperation
Hidden asperation
She found what she was looking for
Taught herself to value more,
~To Take Her Home~

He promised her happiness
She went weak with this last kiss
Forever broke her heart
Forever tore her apart,
~And he dropped her off at home~ [comments] => 6 [counter] => 211 [topic] => 22 [informant] => strange_lindsey [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

This is sensationally heartbreaking and so dripping with originality

I like the repetition of the title here, Lindsey. This was full of melancholy, but showed a great deal of talent, too.

Keep on writing.
