put there by the sharpest point.
It's my self destructive side
bent on release, fulfillment.
It's a heat I can't control,
fueled by the fires of hell
rampaging and pillaging me.
It's a heat that sets my blood afire,
sets my blood to boil.
It's my pulse that beats deep within.
I can feel it pounding beneath it all.
It's the flow that leaves my hand tingling,
my wrist burning, my skin raped,
my soul torn.
It's the desperation to find something,
but I'm not quite sure what.
It's my game with fate,
testing and teasing;
hoping not to be the victor.
And all of it combined,
is just my life behind the wristband. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 13 [informant] => waos [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

I know what u mean my friend. I liked this poem although I've seen better by you this was still really good and I LOVED these 2 lines.
It's the desperation to find something,
but I'm not quite sure what.

Deep, dark and soulful. It's beautiful. I know how it feels to be looking for something you want so bad it makes your heart ache and yet not even know what your looking for.
