and I bled in the rain.
Those tender drops
mingled in with my pain.
Diluting the stream from my wrist
it became the tears from my eyes;
polluting this ravaged innocence
with more of it's mournful lies.
I sat beneath the tree
and pleaded for the pain to end.
I lay amongst the needles
and wished this borken soul would mend.
And as the raindrops
splattered upon my blood stained skin,
my heart bleeds inwardly
trying to release itself from this sin.
I can hear a voice in the thunder,
sounding off this mournful refrain.
And it's singing me to sleep tonight,
in the background of this falling rain.
The lightning cracks so near
lighting the tree above me afire.
And as the heat draws nearer
it only increases my desire.
Soon I'm surrounded by the blaze,
the dancing shadows as real as life.
The pain so distant, resulting
from the flow set loose by the knife.
I fade into darkness
beneath the flaming canopy;
surrounded by needles
and my blood red misery. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 36 [informant] => waos [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

this iss heart wrenching but I gave u a five as you exspress your deepest emptions, fellings longing, everything all wrapped up in one page. It's really hard for me to read these type writes 'cause they break my heart.
Please excuse my key board seems to be stuttering.
As I was trying to say they break my heart but I read them anyway 'cause if u can break my heart in one page then you've done something. I jus wonna put arms around you'll and help ya find that inner healing u long for. I do know for sure I care.
luv, hope, faith, peace,
emy
I pray for you'll every nite.

This poem is so subtely powerful. You use your words so well and express yourself so fluently. Though I know that no one can fully understand someone else's pain, I myself have suffered soul shattering anguish. I sympathize that the pain never fully leaves, but the fact that you are still alive proves your strength.
