Array ( [sid] => 51841 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My Lullaby [time] => 2004-06-14 07:28:29 [hometext] => just read..... i feel like a stupid enough kid today, so whatever, if you dont like it, be straight forward honest, give me another reason to rot. [bodytext] => If this is a feelng of descite,
then its merely my despise.
I dont like to feel this way,
I know i do not have to,
then why do I?!

If i ran away today
and tommorow,
decided to come back,
would you welcome me with
open arms like you used to,
or are you fed up with me?

If i cried myself to sleep,
then would you finally see,
the way you make me
feel about me?!
Why do you yell at me,
like im some sort of untrained dog?
It gives me a bad outlook on life.

My tears are my comfort,
locked away in captivity,
everybight its the same,
everynight this is my lullaby. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 13 [informant] => srugglingyoungster [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

i really like this, but sorry to hear of your pain.
i can see this is written straight from your heart.
your are under immense pressure!
but your day will over come, and then the sun will shine.
if the person that you write about in this is so nasty, then ( just as thought), why not ditch them???

if you ever want to talk or have a good vent or rant then i'm here.

please don't give up hope!

from deathdrop.

Very nice write though,
I can tell it is very real.

Oh.... I agree! This is raw and emotional.... and that is exactly my favorite kind of poem! Excellent effort here... I absolutely remember this feeling from when I was a teenager. I spent a lot of time alone in my room wondering the very same things you are wondering. Be strong - hold on to your dreams - and it will get better as time goes by! Thanks for sharing this! I'm quite touched by it. *hug*
