Array ( [sid] => 51737 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => beautiful lies [time] => 2004-06-13 14:18:53 [hometext] => not very good, the beginning is a worse version of somthing I wrote for her a few days before we broke up but never really got to give her, the rest is what i wrote now reflecting on it. Please don't comment on the weird format, but please comment though [bodytext] => what was the point of going through the day
all to find out that things never go you way
what was the purpose of holding on
when at the end of the day it's the same song
why did I pretend each moment was not the last
what did it matter if there's no separating between now and the past
why did I crawl further into an endless cave
why did I try to prolong life in a grave
why? Because you made me believe I was a life you could save.

Yes love, yes love, you made me buy into the concept of a needless imagination
because true fairytales were built without a moment's hesitation
because you and I were never planned
then it was belived we were made from god's hands and this spontanous happiness faded in sight all because of a dark mind that wanted a light so it looked for an answer and found not one but still marveled and what a world it had become. God was the answer god was never in a prayer god couldn't hear them, and god forgot the care. So carlessly, carlessly when he made you and me you. It is a blessed soul
who, getting God's most solemn sympathy,
is freed of Love's most comedy.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
