What is it we’re doing here?
Are we really going to try?
To make it right will take time
That part, we can’t deny.

I think that we might make it
I think I always knew We Could.

We Could just forget the past
We Could make love all night

My life’s been like a story
A book I can’t put down
So anxious for the next page
Will her heart come back around?

Last night she could have fooled me
As we made love before dark
Neither one could wait for that
And we couldn’t stop our spark.

The time was spent in ecstasy
From beginning, to the end
Perfect like it was before
So I can’t comprehend...

What is it we’re doing here?
