Desires drift down the bed, drown dark deeds in my heaD
Answers abound in alpha omega's sweet aurA
Nature's nector, knee-deep in, never knew, never beeN
Angelic arched area, escorts to our erA

Need made anew, passion's stain, next to truth I have laiN
Dictate death 'til it extends, danced with dread 'til the enD
Violent villians blessed to live, victims fall to their shiV
Anguish advanced media, approved edged ideA

Nonchalantly come undone, 'neath wicked words we've spuN
Enfolded endless pleasure, evil echos endurE
Serpent's shrines that still exist, sting subtle, scarlet kisS
Shook the center of charades, siren's saintly crusadeS

Arousal's afresh genre, alleged carnal dramA
Fountain of fire burns brief, forget your full belieF
Ordained origin untrue, watch oracles outdO
Risk the rack to discover, righteousness uncoveR

Edges of insanity, escape deception's evE
Virgin's chastity reneved, bodies risquelly reV
Earned the right of wrong to see, earthen woman's decreE
Rewrite history unclear, rebuild will lost to feaR

Remarkable write.
I don't do religion any more but I'm tottally into God.
to me religion feeds on fear to scare the hell out of someone to get um come to church to get their money.
god showed me his lite and with him i walk whole. In church is confussion and all things not all bad, definnently far from good.
When god said to me they were to busy jumping up and down hollering and they 4 got 2 teach u my love. In my case it was foot stomping, jumpping, hollering etc Pentecost.
My Mom was a minister but she taught nuthing but God's luv.
Ssorry you've opened a vain in my head with this awesome write. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
Didn't mean to write a book, smiles,
luv, huggs,
emy

Holy...... (Oh! I'd swear if I could! Big too!) WOW! I mean, really wow! This one pretty much reached out from the screen and slapped me - hard!

The whole thing is incredible - and these two lines, particularly divine:

Need made anew, passion's stain, next to truth I have laiN
Dictate death 'til it extends, danced with dread 'til the enD

Yeah, you!

Vanessa,

That is a great poem. Excellent. The acrostic part is cute too. "Dan AND Vanessa Forever!"

Hmm a very interesting write. I do not think this is a religious poem but it does leave some questions for those thinking about it. 5 stars

"Arousal's afresh genre, alleged carnal dramA"

Very intricately expressed, with a devoted sentiment. I rather like it.

Well done.

I like the double there. Starting and finishing with the same letter. Nice job.
Had to see what the valley girl was writing.

You have struck the note in my heart perfectly, i am defnately not a man of religion in fact i think its the biggest lie since, well actually its the biggest lie in the history of mankind... other than micheal jacksons had no plastic surgery on his nose...

But anyway i love this, it is amazing, looks at everything in a very clever way and if i could give it a million stars i would but im afraid the sky is not its limit, so a million stars is not enough and neither is my comment, my comment couldnot express the amazement within this piece it truely couldnt

well done

The acrostic effect was fun. Religion can be very hard on people and its good to know we can be honest about that with each other. Like one of the other commentators, my peace in God is exactly that, not in religion.

If you are looking for a good teacher on taking apart religion in exchange for God, Jeff VanVonderen is a great speaker and he is at www.innervention.com . If you look at his tape section you will see some material on point.

God's peace to you.

Craig
