My heart is tied in knots
my eyes flow with tears
although I have my friends and family
I feel as if I'm not here.
My wrists are uncut
my body unbruised
yet my mind, soul, and heart
beat a continuous blue.
I do not know if this is the end of things
if my life will wisp away.
The only thing I am thankful for
is being here today.

i really liked this. alot of deep meaning and dark emotion in this. like the other comment, i liked how it ended.

it's really good to be thankful for today. that's something i'm working on. good job writing. the pain inside is the hardest kind.

I take it that either your medication is not working or you are not taking it? Life doesn't have to be so difficult all the time. I do hope someone will help. I am encouraged by your attitude of thankfulness for your friends and family and appreciation of life. Go forward.
