I want to scream at the top of my lungs, to tell the world how much it hurts.
The anger consumes my being and I become a black hole, only sinking further into myself.
People around me become aggravation, fueling the fire with their very existance.
Then I go alone, into the abyss, the fog around me all consuming, I cannot see.
I am surrounded by the nothing, only triggering more fury, a spiral into the depths of hell.
Time moved slowly, I feel I could die, consumed by the hate of the universe.

I go outside myself; looking in I see nothing but darkness.
I search, for any spark of hope; any small brightness that has not yet been overtaken by the nothing.
I find a small twinkle, a single grain of sand, my only salvation.
I take hold, never to let go of my one and only savior.
My grasp becomes eternal, my only light in the dark held forever to shine.
I have my freedom, I become at peace.
The darkness becomes light, I can live again. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 234 [topic] => 6 [informant] => dragonluvsong [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )

That is an absolutely perfect description of how I feel sometimes and you do have to cling to that little 'spark of hope' or else you'll be lost. I love the vivid imagery you've got going. great work.
