[bodytext] => He often dreamt himself Prince Charming,
Or the hero to save the day,
But no matter the character, no matter the timing,
Or supernatural powers of resolve,
He still fell short, of nothing but himself.

For it remained irrelevent,
The heroic tales and stories he concoctured,
These adventures within his mind,

It made no difference,
As to which villain he'd slain,
Or of what sabrosa deeds he'd find,

For he was still fighting for his honor,
In the never-ending quest he sought,
True meaning, and point to his life.

But,
Lost within a labrinyth of grammatical complexities,
Captivated by a maze of wordy, expressionate tones,
Every wall constructed by daily anxieties,
He awoke every night, with adventures as his own.

A paladin by no means at all,
But this boy grew stronger, though shaken,
And with every wrong turn, dead-ended wall,
He became...
The hero in the making... [comments] => 4 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 21 [informant] => morelikelyrics [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

I like this! Very epic portrayal of life's climb to making something of yourself. Great work!

Yes he did Lyrics. This was great! Well done. The ending was very unexpected but very very well written. Thank you for sharing.

Lindsey

PS. Works better as a poem.
