Its like a battle in my heart
Do i keep on living
Or just let it consume me
It would be easy to give up
Sometimes i think it would be better
But i know there has to be someone
Someone there that cares
Cares enough to miss me if i were to let it consume me

If i were to die
I don't think even i
Would show up at my funeral
I've made my enemies
But none worse the me
Life has beaten me up
And now my heart has taken what is rest of the remains
I will soon me another statistic
Its hard for me to say good bye
But sometimes goodbye is the way
The way to happiness
The way to peace

It is with this that i say goodbye to myself
I will not miss myself for i know i did the right thing
So goodbye me

Strong words, stronger yet the emotion behind the words. Giving up on one's self is the most destructive thing one can do. I've been to the bottom but the will to survive always puts the tiny spark needed to go on. I truly hope that spark is there for you. June
