when the leaves move in breezes unexpected
swirling clouds protect the water dancers
in their leaping ballets they tell stories
droplets of mist speak of lost love stories
they crash to the surface to talk of dark horrors
when you see the dancing shadows hit the moonlight
the silhouettes bounce down to the tree trunks
crashing, burning passion,
the water dancers crash and burn
tranquil blue flames devour the mist drops
the water dancers rest for the night
