Then I dropped to my knees, and asked God please.
I asked for strength, and help with my problems in my life.
I did not hear any words from the lord, but I did feel a little high.
High on life, and full of more love than I ever knew,
And today I feel really blue.
I had upset many people lastnight, over some thoughts,
But isn't sharing feelings what we are taught.
I would never take my own life, nor do I wish anyone else to.
For in this life we live, we have so many chances to feel new.
I wrote the poem in the wrong way, and now the words of sorry to you all,
Are really hard to say.
I am sorry for hurting, or upsetting anyone.
You know some say I wrote the poem for attention,
But attention is not something that I need.
There are so many people in this world who take life with greed,
And I am not one of them.
I wish for no one to ever think of suicide, for life is to presious.
I read so many poems on this site, as well as other sites about suicide,
And how so many kids have no other way to hide.
But if you can not write down how you feel, without someone getting ***** off,
Then what are you to do, maybe continue bouncing off of the walls.
I have talked to people, and friends alike about my troubles,
And like always they bursted my hardened bubble.
I am glad that so many of you read the poem lastnight,
But yet I am sad, because I didn't say things right.
So yes I am sorry, and I could say it over and over, but it does no good.
Cause the next kid will come by, with words of the same,
But will so many be as mas as they could at he or she.
Maybe, cause most people don't take the time to talk with their children,
About what is going on in their lives, and I really don't think that, that is right.
I say what I feel without a care in the world, for I know I will be ok.
It's all the children and others on this site, that write about it.
Think about it people some are looking for someone to hear them,
Some are looking for a great friend.
My way of thinking may not be right, but I made it through another night.
I use my poetry to release my pain, not to inflict it on others shoulders.
For I have been through some hard times, and always will be for all of my life.
Let's just pay closer attention to the younger group, and others who really need help.
And again I apologize to you all, for making you all think something different. rylo,
i guess i missed something lastnight. i did not see your post. i have been blessed to write on many topics, including suicide. i believe God has given me the words for those writes to let others see that there are people who understand that life can be very difficult to deal with. not everyone who writes of suicide is planning to do it or glorify it. write what your heart tells you, it may bring someone to see signs of distress in a friend or loved one. my writes are not posted to draw attention to me, but to open eyes, minds and hearts.

keep them coming my friend

i have not read that post either but i will after i comment on this piece. many things you said are true. i myself have written many things that are classified as suicidal yet i do not intend to kill myself or even to hurt myself because yeah i have fear issues and i guess thats a good thing in this case. but when write something it wont be in the same tone or about the same topics. and everything will ruffle someone, its just the way it is. some people dont agree with religious or political choices. not everyone will agree with your pieces. and how dare people judge you. thats all i suppose.

Rylo, I'm glad to hear it. I wanted to tell you to keep your head up. I'm a sophomore in high school, and the past three years had been horrible for me, but I can happily say that this is the 48th day in a row that I have been completely happy. I used poetry through my hard times too, and it's a great tool, a shoulder to cry on. Hope for the good days...
