I saw you standing there, our eyes they met once more.
Just like had so many years ago.
You walked across and touched my hand.
No words we’d have to say.
And somewhere in the distance the music starts to play.

As your arms they now embrace me, take me back to days gone by.
To a place down in a valley, beneath the star filled skies.
Will you take me to that valley, where you once held me tight?
And hold me in your loving arms, like you did that special night.

I feel your breath upon my face, my lips with passion burn.
I look into your eyes and see the one I left behind.
We journeyed down two different roads and lived two different lives.
Yet the memories of what could have been, still haunts me through the nights.
Did we miss our chance at true love the day we walked away?

Has fate now brought us back again to the crossroads of our lives
Can we turn back the hands of time and capture what we lost.
Will you take me to that valley, where you once held me tight?
And hold me in your loving arms, like you did that special night.
Hold me in your loving arms and make love to me tonight.

This is a beautiful piece of artistry. I hope in my lifetime I find love again as great as the one I just lost. Your words give me hope for the future that in time it may come again in another form but just as meaningful.
