Confessions

All I need is an answer to why you went away
Just a simple answer can help me finally move on with my day
I’ve wanted you for so very long but couldn’t tell you how I feel
Never sure of if your feelings were returned and if they were truly real
I get those butterflies in my stomach whenever you’re near
When I’m with you, losing you is my only fear
Being with you makes time go by so fast but it seems to stretch on forever
All I want is for the two of us to be able to be together
So what am I waiting for, what am I waiting to see?
It’s the risk of possible rejection that is too hard to handle for me
You’re everything I wanted, everything I could ever ask for
But I don’t want to deal with the heartbreak once more
Our future is unknown, for I don’t know what’s going through your head
Is it rejection or returned feelings the one thing in which I dread?
They say its better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all
Obviously, they didn’t lose their heart when they did finally fall
How are you supposed to move on and give someone else your heart?
When the last person you gave it to still has it torn apart?
You have taken my heart, but you never knew
So now what is a girl to do?
Go and beg for you to love me, or just give up on you and let go
There is so much in my head and heart that you don’t even know
Not afraid to love you, but too scared to try
This heartache of losing you I’m feeling, makes me want to die
All I want is happiness for you
So if that means hiding my love and forgetting you that’s what I’m going to have to do
But its time for my confession, its time to tell you something that you never before knew
To tell you how you’ve stolen my heart and I’ve fallen in love with you!

Wow...awesome. That's exactly how I feel. Exact feelings of rejection. Good write, keep writting.
