Into this deep dark hole
I struggle to crawl up
No matter how hard I try
I can’t get up
I fall back down
And must start over
What’s keeping me down here?
Is it you, or is it me?
Is it my fears or is it my dreams?
I’m just too weak
It’s the fears that are pushing me down
They consume me
I’m even smothered
I’m drowning in the thoughts
Every time I try to go farther
I dig the hole a little bit deeper
It’s all my fault now
Always has been
It won’t ever be right
Because it never has been
One day I’ll get out of this hole
I will show my face instead of hiding it
Until the day where my fears let go
I remain here, just trying to hold on

Cant Let Go

I’m being pushed down
Into this deep dark hole
I struggle to crawl up
No matter how hard I try
I can’t get up
I fall back down
And must start over
What’s keeping me down here?
Is it you, or is it me?
Is it my fears or is it my dreams?

WOW...this poem is really good. I can also relate to this one as well. I really like it. I can understand the message that you are trying to get across and it is extremely sad. I know exactly whay you are saying.
