This seems to be so true
All I want is to write a poem to lift my wife when she is blue.
It seems this simple desire is really more of a task. Why does my brain refuse to help why does it always go black.
You see my wife is my best friend; sometimes she just forgets. When I promised her forever, forever is what she will get.
My heart aches so many nights to listen to her cry and cry. Her pain is so unbearable it is tough for her to try.
My Lord my God why can I not help to ease her pain and lighten her load? I would walk the longest fiery road. I would lay down my life to protect her and pay any price just to caress her.
I love my wife so very much. A love fresh and ever new. Blooming more each day. In every way a special miracle. A dream come true.
I love my wife so very much and until the very end I will hold her close and let her know she is my heart and always my friend.
