Inside I'm happy
But on the outside i'm ready to take flight
Out of my life for so long
Now wanting to be apart
Apart of somthing that has gona so wrong

Would it have been different if you were there?
There as i grew up
Or would things have been the same
Why do I feel like this?
I should be happy
But how can I be

To grow up without your father in your life must have been terrible for you. This is a very emotional write.
Well done

I hope the meeting between you and him went well. forgiveness is often hard to express and give. Pain can often cloud us and keep us into maturing into who we are supposed to be. You have something I do not have; both my parents are dead. Take the time to get to know your dad discuss why he wasn't there and give him the chance to be there for you now. I would like to read more poetry by you not just to post comments like the ones I have posted so far but to also congratulate you when things go well. I hope I get the chance to do so. --Archie

Coming from one of the Rugby capitals of the world, I wish our Rugby players had this much heart... I hope it really goes well for you and for him.
