Delirium

Contributed by InexactExactness on Monday, 14th October 2002 @ 09:30:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Searching for something
and unable to find it
The lost are the forgotten
in a different mindset
Fear embraces me
as I strive for braveness
Against all odds
for something courageous
I am lost forever now
as the day turns to night
Nothing can save me
from this delirious fright
Locked up and bound
my mind's eye unable
To realize the truth
I am truly unstable
The lost are remembered
by the tie that binds
We all search for something
that we know we can't find

And to bind one's soul where they cannot show how they truly feel inside and out whether you watch them go crazy or speak crazy words then that would be to kill the very inner being of who they are....instead ..let us scream, cry, moan, ball up, say crazy things, scratch, cut, bleed, hurt, and mimick eachother's words so that we might be free within eachother....tha's what came to mind when i read this poem ...as always i babble on about things in your poetry that move me deeply...im sorry if i take up so much of your comment space lol..i dont mean to..but your poetry is beautiful my friend....

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
